The report reveals that Samsung will no longer use its custom sensor instead going to buy a Chinese OEM SK Hynix sensor for the Galaxy A23.
The report reveals that Samsung is planning to procure the new 50MP Hynix sensor for the Galaxy A23. So this year budget phone will get a camera bump from 48MP to 50MP main sensor. Further, the report also gives us a surprise that Galaxy A23 will now come with OIS support. Yes, the 50MP main sensor will be accompanied by OIS this year.
The device will feature quad cameras with the remaining sensors being 5MP ultra-wide & dual 2MP sensors with depth & macro. The report also confirms that Galaxy A23 will have both 4G and 5G variants. The 4G variant is scheduled to launch by Q1 2022 whereas the 5G model by the second half of 2022.
