Samsung recently started teasing the new Galaxy S22 series through its first video post. We also got a blog post about the Samsung CEO hinting at the S-Pen support on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Now we probably got the final set of leaks that reveals the complete specs sheet of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Design:
The new Galaxy S22 Ultra will surely remind us of Galaxy Note 20 series as the device comes with a boxy-like shape design with sharp edges. On the back, we got a new camera module which we like to call a waterdrop camera setup featuring quad-cameras. This time Samsung has also added the S-Pen slot on the bottom of the device similar to the Note series.
The new Galaxy S22 Ultra features a curved bezel-less center punch-hole display on the front. There are slightly thick bezels protecting the display on the top as well as the bottom. The power button along with volume rockers are placed on the right. The Galaxy S22 Ultra might come with a metal & glass design giving it a premium touch. It weighs over 228g & measures 8.9mm thick.
Specs:
The device sports 6.8 inches QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO 2.0 curved display with the same 1500nits of brightness. The device also comes with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top. The new Galaxy S22 Ultra will be powered by the latest Exynos 2200/ Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with lower 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a 108MP HM2 main sensor coupled with OIS and SuperClear Lens tech. Yes, the Galaxy S22 Ultra becomes the first to feature the newly developed SuperClear Lens by Corning whose details are still unknown. Using the new lens should reduce glare and reflections, while also improving the resolution of the sensor. There is a 12MP f/2.2 aperture ultra-wide sensor with Dual Pixel AF along with a dual 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 & f/4.9 aperture, OIS, 3x & 10x optical zoom. It also supports 12-bit HDR recording.
There is a 40MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It comes with S-pen support and packs a 5000 mAh battery with 45W fast charge support.
