Samsung is about to launch the new Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ & Galaxy S22 Ultra later next month. Recently Samsung officially confirmed the launch date for the new Galaxy S22 series which is scheduled for Feb 9. Ahead of the official launch we have got the complete specs sheet along with pricing and renders of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ & Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S22 & Galaxy S22+:
The new Galaxy S22 & Galaxy S22+ will look almost similar to their predecessor aka Galaxy S21+. Yes, the new Galaxy S22+ & Galaxy S22 will sport a center punch-hole display with slimmer bezels.
On the back, we have the same triple camera arrangement with LED flash with the matte finish back. The power button along with volume rockers on the right of the device. Galaxy S22+ weighs around 195g & 7.6mm thick whereas the Galaxy S22 is lighter at 167g. Both of them come in four colors Black, white, pink gold, green.
Specs:
The source revealed that Galaxy S22+ will come 6.6 inches Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO 2.0 panel with a whopping 1750nits of brightness. The Galaxy S22 will sport 6.1 inches Dynamic AMOLED display with 1500nits of brightness. Both the devices will still support 120Hz adaptive refresh rate support along with HDR10+ & the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The Galaxy S22 & Galaxy S22+ is powered by Exynos 2200 SoC/ Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC depending upon the region. It comes with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
The Galaxy S22 & Galaxy S22+ will feature a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture along with Adaptive Pixel technology. It comes with 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, OIS. There is a 10MP selfie shooter on both the Galaxy S22 & Galaxy S22+
The Galaxy S22+ 4500 mAh whereas Galaxy S22 with 3700 mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging support. It also gets 25W wireless fast charge and 10W reverse wireless charging support.
The Galaxy S22 series comes with standard connectivity options like Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, VoLTE, 5G, Wifi 6x, NFC, UWB, USB Type-C port, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.1, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner support. The Galaxy S22 & Galaxy S22+ will also have support for water and dust resistance as it has got IP68 rating.
Pricing:
The vanilla Galaxy S22 with 8GB+128GB will cost €849 (Rs.71,600/-) & 8GB+256GB at €899 (Rs.75,800/-). The Galaxy S22+ with 8GB+128GB at €1049 (Rs.88,500/-) whereas the 8GB+256GB at €1099 (Rs.92,800/-).

Design:
The new Galaxy S22 Ultra will surely remind us of Galaxy Note 20 series as the device comes with a boxy-like shape design with sharp edges. On the back, we got a new camera module which we like to call a waterdrop camera setup featuring quad-cameras. This time Samsung has also added the S-Pen slot on the bottom of the device similar to the Note series.
The new Galaxy S22 Ultra features a curved bezel-less center punch-hole display on the front. There are slightly thick bezels protecting the display on the top as well as the bottom. The power button along with volume rockers are placed on the right. The Galaxy S22 Ultra might come with a metal & glass design giving it a premium touch. It weighs over 228g & measures 8.9mm thick. It comes in four colors Black, white, burgundy, green colors.

Yes, the Galaxy S22 Ultra becomes the first to feature the newly developed SuperClear Lens by Corning whose details are still unknown. Using the new lens should reduce glare and reflections, while also improving the resolution of the sensor.
