With various leaks revealing the specs and other details about the budget flagship series aka the Redmi K50 series. Now finally the brand has shared the first official teaser that hints the launch is nearing. Redmi introduced the Redmi K40 series lineup in China last year in Feb.
Now Xiaomi sub-brand has already begun teasing the successor aka the Redmi K50 series in China. As per the teaser, the Redmi will launch new Redmi K50 series soon which will have multiple models similar to its predecessor. The teaser also mentions that the Redmi K50 series is codenamed as DreamPhone.
The new Redmi K50 lineup will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with UFS 3.1 storage & LPDDR5 RAM. It comes with a better Liquid-cooled dual VC heat dissipation unit with a large surface area. The Redmi K50 will pack a 4700 mAh battery and come with whopping 120W fast charging support. The company also shared that it takes just 17 min to charge from 0-100%.
Apart from this nothing much about the new Redmi K50 model is revealed. Further, the tipster confirmed that the previously leaked model aka 21121210C is nothing but a Redmi K50 Gaming Edition smartphone. Lastly, the Redmi K50 series will come with Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top.
