OnePlus officially announced the new OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds 2 in India today. Both the new OnePlus 9RT & OnePlus Buds Z2 will go on sale from Jan 17. The OnePlus 9RT early sale starts from Jan 16 through Amazon whereas the Buds Z2 is available both on Flipkart & Amazon.

OnePlus 9RT:

The new OnePlus 9RT 5G looks similar to the OnePlus 9R in terms of design and features triple-rear cameras with LED flash. It comes with a 6 Series Aluminium Alloy chassis & glass back. It measures 8.7mm thick and weighs 189g. The new OnePlus 9R 5G sports a 6.62 inches FHD+ AMOLED E3 display with 120Hz refresh rates. It gets 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It comes in two colors with Nano Silver & Hacker Black.

The new OnePlus 9RT comes with the powerful SD888 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options. On the imaging side, it downgrades as it doesn’t feature Hasselblad camera tech. The new OnePlus 9RT features a Sony IMX766 50MP main sensor from the OnePlus 9 with f/1.8, 16MP Sony IMX481 123-degrees ultra-wide sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor of /2.4 aperture. It comes with OIS and EIS support.

The new OnePlus 9RT will feature a 16MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. It gets some additional gaming features like VC cooling(Vapour Chamber), Pro Gaming Mode, Immersive Haptic feedback, Stereo speakers.

The connectivity option includes Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual SIM with 4G LTE and 5G support, USB Type-C port, and in-display fingerprint scanner. It also comes with stereo dual firing speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The new OnePlus 9RT 5G will pack a 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging. It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.

The OnePlus 9RT with 8GB+128GB will set you back at Rs.42,999/- whereas the 12GB+256GB at Rs.46999/- in India.

OnePlus Buds Z2:

The Buds Z2 is confirmed to include three microphones and 40 dB of active noise suppression, as seen in the poster below It’ll include 11mm audio drivers and Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility, so that’s something to look forward to.

94ms low-latency gaming is provided by the Buds Z2. It will also have a battery life of up to 38 hours. There will also be a transparency mode available. As previously reported, the Buds Z2 will take the place of last year’s Buds Z TWS earbuds. There was no way to use noise-canceling with it.

The Buds Z2 TWS earbuds’ official renderings may now be seen on Chinese store websites. You can expect it to come in Day Black and Day White, according to the product descriptions.

OnePlus Buds Z2

The earbuds would each have a 40mAh battery and the charging case will have a 520mAh battery. It’ll take around 90 minutes to fully charge, according to the company’s estimates. The new earbuds are sweat and water-resistant and have IP55 certification. The Buds Z2’s priced at Rs.4999/- in India.
