Motorola launched the new Moto G200 last month for European markets. Later the company also announced the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 series SoC with Motorola Edge X30 Pro. Now the company is planning to introduce another premium flagship soon which might come with massive upgrades.
As per the source, the new Motorola flagship is now codenamed Frontier which is currently in the works. The leak confirms that some of the specs are similar to the recently launched Motorola Edge X30. Yes, the new upcoming Motorola flagship will sport the same 6.67-inch curved, FHD+, 144Hz OLED display.
It is again powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 series SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. Further, there are rumors about the device might use TSMC manufactured Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 series SoC instead of the Samsung one which was initially launched. The source also reveals that the chipset is listed as SM8475 model number which might be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Apart from that, the alleged flagship will ship with a whopping 200MP Samsung S5KHP1 sensor coupled with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1SQ03 aka JN1 ultra-wide & 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens. There is a 60MP OmniVision OV60A selfie sensor the same one found on Motorola Edge X30. Lastly, the Motorola Frontier is said to ship with 125W wired as well as 50W wireless charging support.
