iQOO has finally announced its two new flagships in China with iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro. After various leaks and rumors, the iQOO 9 series is finally official. The new iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro will be going on sale from Jan 12 in China. The new iQOO 9 series comes in three color options with  Black, Orange, and a special BMW Motorsport Edition.
Display:
The new iQOO 9 will sport 6.78 inches FHD+ AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate & 360Hz touch sampling rate. The iQOO 9 Pro features 6.78 inches QHD+ AMOLED LTPO 2.0 curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate & 360Hz touch sampling rate. It comes with 1500nits of brightness on Pro and vanilla. The iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The iQOO 9 Pro will get an Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. It measures 8.37mm thick and weighs 206g.
Camera:
The new iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro will feature a triple camera setup on the back. The iQOO 9 will come with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 main sensor with OIS support. It is coupled with 13MP ultra-wide sensor with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 12MP portrait lens with LED flash.
The iQOO 9 Pro features the same 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 main sensor with gimbal OIS tech support. It comes with a secondary 50MP ultra-wide sensor with 150-degrees FoV coupled with a 16MP portrait sensor. It also gets Fish Eye mode and also can capture macro shots through the secondary sensors.
The iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro features a 16MP selfie shooter which is placed under the punch-hole notch.
Performance & Connectivity:
The iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro will be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage option. Both the devices will run on Android 12 OS with OriginOS Ocean on top.
The iQOO 9 & iQOO 9 Pro will pack the same 4700 mAh battery and come with 120W fast wired charging support. The iQOO 9 Pro comes with 50W wireless charging & 10W reverse wireless charging support. Both the devices comes with stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, NFC, and 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port.
Pricing:
The iQOO 9 with 8GB+256GB cost 3999 Yuan (Rs.46,900/-), 4399 Yuan (Rs.51,700/-) for 12GB+256GB & 12GB+512GB at 4699 Yuan (Rs.56,300/-) in China. The iQOO 9 Pro 5G with 8GB+256GB cost 4999 Yuan (Rs.57,500/-), 12GB+256GB at 5499 Yuan (Rs.64,500/-). The top-end 12GB+512GB at 5999 Yuan (Rs.68,900/-) in China.
