Google is all set to announce its first foldable phone probably later this year. Previously there were various reports about Google might launch the foldable in 2021 which didn’t happen. Now we have probably spotted the alleged Pixel Fold phone aka Google Pipit on Geekbench.
As per the listing, the alleged Pixel Foldable is listed as Google Pipit which is running on the latest Android 12 OS out of the box. The device secured an impressive 4811 under single & 11349 under multi-core test. Further, the new Pixel Foldable is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The source code mentions 1.8 GHz clocked four cores coupled with dual cores at 2.8GHz & the remaining two cores at 2.5GHz. It is coupled with 12GB RAM and probably 256GB storage.
The device comes with Mali G78 GPU. Going through the specs of the processor we think Google is again using custom Google Tensor SoC from Pixel 6 series. The new Pixel Foldable features a 12MP main Sony IMX363 sensor coupled with a 12MP IMX386 ultra-wide sensor. There is an 8MP under-display selfie shooter along with an outer 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor this time on the Pixel Foldable.
