In recent weeks, Google Pixel 6a specs and images have leaked, as well as a possible announcement date. While Google’s midrange 2022 might be revealed at its I/O event this May, it seems that the Pixel 6a has been officially announced by Mountain View.
As Droid-life reports, Google sanctioned a coloring book, of all things, to make this official mention. The closed Pixel Superfans group, a dedicated group of Google aficionados who often receive loot bags from the company. They received a Nest Audio product along with a coloring book that featured multiple products from Google.
At the end of the document, Google lists which products are featured on which pages. You can see from the table of contents that on pages 6-7 you can paint directly over a Pixel 6a. Flipping the pages over, however, reveals the other products mentioned here, but no Pixel 2022 midrange.
The Pixel 6a mention may have come from an earlier draft that slipped through the editing cracks, or this may simply be an exercise in creative leaking.
