With the launch of three new models in its Predator and Nitro series, Acer expanded its gaming laptop portfolio with three new models: Predator Triton 500 SE, Predator Helios 300, and Acer Nitro 5.
Additionally, Acer offers a month of Xbox Game Pass, giving players day-one access to popular titles as well as the ability to play with friends, whether they’re using a PC or console.

Acer Predator Triton 500 SE:

A special edition laptop, the Predator Triton 500 SE (PT516-52s) comes with a 12th generation Intel Core i9 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU, and 32GB of 5200 MHz LPDDR5 memory.
With the thinnest point of 19.9 mm (0.75 in), the Triton 500 SE is all metal. It has a triple-fan system that includes two 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans with 89 metal blades each.
As the company explains, Vortex Flow technology redirects airflow from fans to critical components while strategically-placed thermal foam, liquid-metal thermal grease, and four heat pipes further enhance cooling. A 99.98 Wh battery powers the hardware.
A 16-inch WQXGA (2560*1600) display with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response time, 500 nits of brightness, and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut are featured in the laptop. It also features an SD7.0 card reader for offloading content.
A full range of USB 3.2 Gen2 ports is also included, including 2 Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports that support DisplayPort and power delivery. HDMI 2.1 enables users to connect an external display to run 4K @ 120 Hz.
With the Intel Killer E3100G 2.5G Ethernet Controller, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E 1675, and Control Center 2.0, users have access to blazing-fast connectivity.
North America can buy Predator Triton 500 SE (PT516-52s) for US$ 2,299 (approximately Rs. 1,71,190) in March; Europe will buy it for EUR 3,499 February; China will buy it for RMB 24,999 in February.

Acer Predator Helios 300:

Similarly, the Predator Helios 300 (PH315-55) comes with either an Intel Core i7 or a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU, as well as 32 GB of DDR5-4800 MHz memory and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD RAID 0 storage. 

The laptop features a 15.6-inch QHD (2560*1440) IPS display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. Additionally, it features a dual-fan design with the 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan supported by liquid metal thermal grease and Acer’s CoolBoost technology. 

When the Predator sense button is pressed, users will be presented with four preset operating modes; meanwhile, as soon as the Turbo key is pressed, these settings will be maximized to improve gaming performance. 

Out of the box, the device runs Windows 11 and has Killer DoubleShot Pro (E2600+1675i) and WiFi 6E connectivity. HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt Type-C, and two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports are on board.

Furthermore, users can purchase a 17.3-inch IPS panel variant (QHD 165 Hz or FHD 165 Hz / 144 Hz) with the PH317-56. In North America, the 15.6-inch Predator Helios 300 (PH315-55) starts at USD 1,649; in EMEA, it begins at EUR 2,299, and in China, it begins at RMB 11,999.

Acer Nitro 5:

Nitro 5 features up to a 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor (AN515-58) and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics. 

A pair of M.2 SSD slots (PCIe Gen 4) is also included, as well as up to 32GB of DDR4 3200 RAM and a QHD 165 Hz panel with a 3 ms response time. Moreover, it comes with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i and Killer Ethernet E2600. 

An alternate variant of the Acer Nitro 5 includes up to an AMD Ryzen 6000 Series processor (AN515-46) and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU, as well as 32 GB of DDR5 4800 MHz RAM and Windows 11 preinstalled. 

AMD FreeSync is integrated into both the FHD 144 Hz and the QHD 165 Hz panels on this Nitro 5. The AMD processor-powered Nitro 5 has two M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD slots (PCIe Gen4 x1, PCIe Gen3 x1).

In addition to HDMI 2.1, the laptop supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2. A Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port is also included in the Intel-powered model. It also comes with a USB 4.

The Acer Nitro 5 [Intel processor, 15.6-inch] (AN515-58) will be available in North America from March for $1249 (roughly Rs. 78,110); in EMEA from February for EUR 1,549; and in China from February for RMB 9,499.
