Looks like after Samsung it’s now time for Xiaomi to ditch this display tech for its upcoming flagship. So you are still guessing? it’s none other than the under-display camera feature. Yes, Samsung has also canceled the plans of introducing the UDC support on the new Galaxy S22 series.
Now it’s time for Xiaomi to follow Samsung’s footsteps and completely ignore the UDC tech for its upcoming Xiaomi 12 series. As per the source, Xiaomi 12 series will not come with Under display camera tech after all and will stick to a punch-hole notch. Yex, all three models will sport a center punch-hole display. Further, the source also reveals that the punch-hole display will also bring some improvements.
The reason behind ditching the under-display camera feature is still unknown. But there are rumors about not-so-good selfie pictures shot from Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has been made to take this step. Apart from this nothing much about the new Xiaomi 12 series is been revealed.
As per leaks, the new Xiaomi 12 series will be released on Dec 28 in China. It will come in three models with Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro & Xiaomi 12X.
