After the massive leaks revealing the details about the upcoming affordable tab aka Galaxy Tab A8. Now Samsung has officially unveiled the device in Europe. Yes, the new Galaxy Tab A8 will be first going on sale in Europe later by Jan 2022 it will hit the US. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 comes in Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold colors.
Design:
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is rectangular in shape. It features big bezels around the screen and a front-facing camera on the right. The right side has a volume rocker and fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it comes with a single camera sensor and Samsung branding. On the top are two speaker grills and a microphone. 3.5mm audio jack and two speakers are on the bottom.
Specs:
It will arrive with a 10.5-inch TFT WUXGA (2000*1200p) panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. The tablet will be powered by Unisoc T618 SoC coupled with 4GB/3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage. Availability will be market-dependent. It weighs 476g and measures 6.9mm thick.
The tablet has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Galaxy Tab A8 has a 7,040mAh battery that supports 15W rapid charging. It will feature quad-speakers located on either side with Dolby Atmos support. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0 support, Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C Port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Pricing:
The Galaxy Tab A8 costs €229 (Rs.19,700/-) for Wifi only variant with 3GB+32GB whereas the LTE model costs €279 (Rs.23,990/-) in Europe. The 4GB+64GB Wifi only cost €259 (Rs.22,300/-) & LTE model at €309 (Rs.26,600/-). Lastly, the 4GB+128GB Wifi only costs €309 (Rs.26,600/-) & LTE model at €359 (Rs.30,900/-).
