Realme GT 5G

Unconfirmed details of the new Realme GT 2 Pro were leaked earlier this week. The phone was supposed to have a Snapdragon 888 SoC and a 108 or 50mp camera. Now a new leak reveals adjustments.

The Realme GT 2 pro, model number RMX3301, will be launched in early 2022, according to WHYLAB, a trustworthy source on Weibo. Contrary to prior claims, the gadget is claimed to use a Snapdragon 898 (Gen 1) processor. The phone will include LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory. An in-screen fingerprint scanner and a 6.51-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen are expected. It will have a fast refresh rate and a 404ppi pixel density. The phone is also rumored to offer 125w rapid charging.

It may have a 50-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 5-megapixel rear camera. That includes autofocus, OIS, and EIS. The 4-in-1 pixel binning technology appears to allow for 50-megapixel pictures.

The gadget is believed to have a 5000mAh battery, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage. The GT 2 Pro is expected to ship with Realme UI 3.0 on Android 12.

It will be interesting to see how Realme positions its flagship killer against impending major flagship launches like the Samsung Galaxy S22.
