With the launch of an Oppo A53s 5G, A54, A54s, A54 5G, A55, A55 5G, and A56 this year, one may assume that the company is done with the A5x line, at least temporarily. You’d be mistaken leaked photos of the Oppo A55s 5G have surfaced.
The images depict the phone in two colors: black and mint green. Although the rear camera design is similar to that of the A54s and A55, it is not identical to any of the phones listed above. While the image is somewhat hazy, it is important to note that there are only two camera modules visible – the small circle in the center is an “AI” label. Regrettably, we cannot comment on the two modules at the moment.
However, more information about the Oppo A55s 5G’s interior is available. A phone with the model number CPH2309 was detected on Geekbench, as well as at the FCC and Bluetooth SIG. It is believed to be an A55s 5G.
According to source, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 480 chipset, which was previously utilized in the A54 5G. (the A55 5G got a Dimensity 700 instead). According to the benchmark’s clock speed detection, this is the vanilla 480, not the updated plus version. In any case, it was connected to 4 GB of RAM and a 3,890 mAh battery with support for 18W rapid charging. It will support the 5G bands n3, n28, n77, and n78. The official announcement cannot be long behind, but we have no idea when it will occur.
