In recent years, BBK Electronics-owned smartphone brands like Realme and OnePlus have introduced a few smart TV models in India that feature impressive features. Realme TV and OnePlus TV are considered competitors to Xiaomi’s Mi TV and Redmi TV models in India. OPPO will now join Realme and OnePlus in the smart TV segment in India.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma, OPPO plans to launch its first TV in India early next year. By March 2022, OPPO TV is expected to launch in India. With a screen size up to 75 inches and 60Hz LCD panels that support HDR10+ and HLG, the K9 TV family is already available in China. They run ColorOS TV 2.0 software and are powered by MediaTek processors.
Despite the announcement happening pretty soon, the first units will be available in the first quarter of 2022. In addition, we have yet to discover whether all or some of the models will be available in India.
