In a now-deleted post, Digital Chat Station provided some information on the Oppo Reno7 series that contradicts what we previously heard. The Oppo Reno7 series appeared to be fully leaked around the end of October. There are similarities to the Reno7 leak from mid-October in terms of the details.
Specs:
There are four versions in the series, but we won’t get into the SE model for the time being. According to DCS, the Oppo Reno7 Pro+ is at the top of the list. Dimensity 1200-Max processor, 50MP main camera, and 4,500mAh battery with 65W rapid charging will be included in the phone. At 7.45 mm and 180g, this phone will be extremely light and thin, including dual speakers and an X-axis linear motor.
A Snapdragon 778G processor will power the Oppo Reno6 Pro. Also, it will have a 64MP camera, 60W fast charging for the 4,500 mAh battery, and weigh 185g.
Dimensity 900 chipset, same 64MP camera, and slower 33W charging for 4,500 mAh battery on the vanilla Oppo Reno6. In comparison to the Pro+’s 7.45 mm thickness, this one weighs just 171g. Displays on all three models will be 90 Hz, regardless of type.
A 90 Hz AMOLED display with a 6.5-inch 1080p+ AMOLED panel is expected to be used in the Pro+, while the 50MP camera will employ a Sony IMX766 sensor (no OIS) and be joined by an 8MP ultra wide (IMX355 with focusing for macro pictures) (IMX615). That report stated that the base 8/256 GB model will cost CNY 3,000 (Rs.34,900/-), with an additional CNY 3,300 (Rs.38,200/-) for an upgrade to 12 GB of RAM.
The end-of-October leak promised a 120 Hz display and a Snapdragon 888 for the Pro model, but that’s higher-end than anything DCS has mentioned. We’re not ready to throw out both leaks, as Oppo released a Reno6 Pro(+) with both a Dimensity 1200 and a Snapdragon 870. Until Oppo confirms the release date of the Reno7 series, we’ll have to guess.
