Motorola debuted the Moto G30 in India last year. Motorola’s cheap smartphone has a quad-camera system with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. Now it appears Motorola is working on the G30’s replacement. The Motorola Moto G31 should arrive in India soon. According to industry sources, the new smartphone would be available in two colors in India.
The Motorola Moto G31 sports a punch-hole cutout in the display’s center. The selfie camera is located in the punch hole. Surrounding the power button is a volume control and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The back has a vertical triple camera arrangement with a 50MP primary camera and two unknown secondary cameras.
The 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED display is a pleasant shift from the Moto G30’s HD+ IPS LCD display. It will also have a fingerprint scanner built in the Motorola logo underneath the rear camera module.
The phone’s model number has been leaked as XT2173-2. It also comes with a 5000mAh battery and Android 11 out of the box. When Android 12 hits in the next months, it should be OTA. The top should feature a 3.5mm audio connection, while the bottom should have a USB Type-C port, microphone, and speaker grille. Stay tuned for additional information on the Motorola Moto G31 and its cost.
