The Lava AGNI 5G has made its debut in India. It has arrived as the world’s first 5G-capable phone from an Indian manufacturer. The AGNI 5G, which costs less than Rs 20,000 (about $270), comes with a slew of appealing features. Furthermore, it boasts an eye-catching design that allows it to compete with other Chinese-made 5G phones in a similar price range.

The Lava AGNI 5G is equipped with a huge 6.78-inch LCD panel that has been designed with punch holes. It has a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 frames per second. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, which is on either side of it. The power button, which is located on the right side of the device, has been incorporated with a fingerprint scanner.
The AGNI 5G comes equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, which is ideal for taking selfies. With a 64-megapixel main lens, a 5-megapixel ultrawide shooter with a 115-degree field of view, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a dual-LED flash, the rear camera unit is capable of capturing high-resolution images. The phone operates on a version of Android 11 that is very close to stock.
The AGNI 5G is powered by the Dimensity 810 5G chipset, which is the most recent generation. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space for consumers. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which is capable of rapid charging at speeds of up to 30W. It also comes with the standard connectivity capabilities, such as dual SIM support for 5G networks, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, as well as the latest generation USB-C port and the traditional 3.5mm audio jack.

The Lava AGNI 5G is available for purchase at Rs 19,999 (about $270). From November 11, it will be available for purchase through Lava India’s online shop, as well as through key e-retailers and retail outlets. Customers who pre-order the AGNI 5G with a payment of Rs 500 (about $7) would be eligible to receive it at a discounted price of Rs 17,999 (approximately $243). The handset is only available in the color Fiery Blue.
