Xiaomi has launched many phones this year, but they are not done. While we anticipate at least 5 new phones before Xiaomi ends the year, a fresh leak reveals a Snapdragon 870 smartphone is on the way. The insider also disclosed certain gadget specs.
The Snapdragon 870 is a common processor used in both phones and tablets. The Mi 10S, Mi 11X, and Mi Pad 5 Pro are the first Xiaomi smartphones that use the CPU. According to @Bald Panda on Weibo, it will soon reveal a fourth.
The source claims the phone will feature a 120Hz refresh rate, a curved display with a punch hole, and a Snapdragon 870 CPU. The display will be FHD+, not 2K like other previous Xiaomi flagships.
The punch hole camera will be 20MP, while the main back camera will be 108MP. He also says that the gadget may include a telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, but he is unsure. A 5000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging will be inside the phone.
The source did not disclose the device’s name or debut date. We expect additional information in the weeks running up to the phone’s release.
