Since launching the Xperia 1 III in late August, Sony’s mobile business has been rather quiet. It has finally made the Xperia 5 III accessible in shops and discreetly revealed an Xperia 10 III Lite in Japan. However, a startling indication of life has appeared recently.
On Tuesday, October 26, two weeks from today, Sony is expected to make an announcement about a new Xperia device. What can we expect from Sony? The Xperia logo is prominently displayed on this phone.
The Mark IV phones will have to wait until Qualcomm unveils its next Snapdragon processor, which is still months away. The Mark III series, on the other hand, has just lately hit the market. So, this is a mid-range model? Mid-range phones aren’t exactly the reason for a huge, spectacular unveiling, as demonstrated by the 10 III Lite’s understated debut.
