Despite being many months away from release, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is already one of the most talked-about smartphones in recent memory. Different leakers have shared numerous ideas for the camera module on the phone’s back, which has sparked the most discussion.

In the beginning, there were leaks that supported a P-shaped camera bump, but it wasn’t all that popular. A quad-camera array was then revealed, with a fourth camera, a flash, and other peripherals being housed on a separate island.

However, fast forward to the present day, and a fresh appearance has appeared yet again. Cameras are still laid out in a P configuration here, but the islands have been removed, and each camera is given its own bump.

OnLeaks shared the new design on Weibo, where it was picked up and shared on Twitter. It depicts a black Galaxy S22 Ultra case with cutouts for the phone’s four cameras.

In our opinion, the P-shaped layout has never looked better than it does in this design. Because it’s quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy A32’s, anyone can get behind it.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a rectangular design resembling the company’s long-defunct Note lineup. Samsung wants the Ultra to stand out from the rest of the S22 lineup, which explains the flurry of design innovations.

What we know so far…

The S22 Ultra, on the other hand, will not have a punch-hole camera on the front. But rather a waterdrop notch.

It had been reported in an earlier rumor that the flagship phone would have a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. It is of a resolution of QHD+ (1440 x 3200). In terms of the back cameras, it may have a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Along with two 12-megapixel telephoto cameras with 3x and 10x optical zoom, respectively. For selfies and video calls, a 40-megapixel sensor on the front camera is possible.
