For good reason, Samsung takes its Galaxy A series very seriously. These intermediate devices have been crucial to Samsung’s recent success financially.
If recent reports are to be believed, Samsung may move to a Chinese manufacturer to enhance its profit margins from Galaxy devices’ displays, which are normally supplied by Samsung.
Galaxy A73 displays are already being developed by Samsung and Chinese display producer BOE, according to a claim from the South Korean portal TheElec. However, Samsung has other options besides BOE, since the report also mentions the Chinese firm CSOT.
There’s nothing official at the moment, but it’s possible that Samsung is testing the quality of the OLED panels produced by the two Chinese firms before making a final decision on its upcoming Galaxy A series.
Galaxy A73:
The Galaxy A73 is currently shrouded in mystery. The device is expected to be available in early 2022. The ISOCELL HM2 1/1.52″ sensor is said to be in the 108MP main camera, according to the newest rumors.
A 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Super AMOLED screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 393ppi pixel density, and 90Hz refresh rate is expected to be used in the Galaxy A73.
An 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens are both included in the Samsung Galaxy A73’s quad-camera configuration on the back. There will also be a secondary 5MP (f/2.4) macro camera. The front-facing selfie camera is expected to be 32MP (f/2.2).
In terms of the Galaxy A73’s processor, there have been rumors that it will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. Likely, that information is currently unreliable (some sources suggest a Snapdragon 730G SoC). Exynos with AMD graphics is also rumored to be in the Galaxy A53 and A73. It will also come with 6GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
