The OnePlus 9 RT is anticipated to arrive later this month, replacing the OnePlus 9R from earlier this year. A new Joint special edition for China is also in the works. As previously reported by Digital Chat Station, several important specifications have been disclosed. Interestingly, the source says the phone would come preloaded with Android 11-based ColorOS 12. In India, the firm brought out Android 12 with OxygenOS overlay to its flagships.
The phone is reported to have a 4,500mAh battery, which is the same as the 9R. The phone will include a punch-hole cutout display, 65W quick charging, and flat bezels. The OnePlus 9 RT is believed to be powered by the Snapdragon 888, an improvement over the Snapdragon 870 in the OnePlus 9R. This matches a recent Geekbench listing.
The phone will probably include a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro/monochrome camera. Most of these specs have been leaked before, but DigitalChatStation confirms them. A 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass on top was previously reported.
An X-axis vibration motor, dual stereo speakers, and NFC will be included in the phone. It will include a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector It may have 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
