A new Moto G51 5G smartphone is apparently under development by Motorola. This phone is likely to debut as the replacement for the Moto G50 5G. A fresh report from TechnikNews has disclosed the major specs of the G51.
The report reveals that the Moto G51 5G is codenamed as “Cyprus 5G” and its model number is XT2171-1. While the G51’s precise screen size is unknown, a Full HD+ resolution is said to be supported. There is no clear information on the refresh rate of the G51.
There is no information on the CPU of the Moto G51. It is armed with a 13-megapixel camera on the front. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with a depth sensor built-in, and another 2-megapixel lens.
The Moto G51 5G was detected last week on Geekbench, an online testing platform. It was seen with specs like the Snapdragon 750G CPU, 4 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. The smartphone’s other features are a mystery.
The Moto G51 5G is expected to go on sale in the next few weeks, according to the report. Assuming all goes according to plan, it’ll go live in November. According to rumors, Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility is also developing a 5G smartphone, codenamed the Moto G71. The Federal Communications Commission only recently approved it (FCC). The certification merely disclosed that it is a 5G-ready gadget, and it has functionality for NFC connectivity.
