A new Motorola smartphone has leaked online, according to an FCC listing and a Wi-Fi Alliance certification status. After these listings of the Motorola XT2165-3, a source close to MySmartPrice has given us an exclusive sneak glimpse at the future smartphone’s official renders. While the smartphone’s official retail name is still unknown, the renders offer us a good picture of how it will look.
According to the renders, the Motorola XT2165-3 will come in two colours: light blue and dark blue/green/black. The Motorola branding appears to be located centrally but higher up on the back panel, near the camera module, on both finishes. Motorola’s trademark logo may double as a fingerprint scanner. A triple rear camera arrangement is evident, as is an LED flash.
Unlike other modern phones, the front has a centrally located drill hole for the selfie camera but otherwise has thick and bold bezels all around. The renders only show the volume and power keys to the right. The Motorola XT2165-3 smartphone is listed as a 4G phone by the US FCC and the Wi-Fi Alliance. All of this points to the gadget in question being a cheap smartphone rather than a premium one.
One theory suggests that the Motorola One Fusion series, codenamed XT206xx. It is a follow-up to the One Fusion series of phones announced in 2020. However, this is only speculation, and we’ll have to wait for more leaks to confirm. Which Moto device does the XT2165-3 belong to. The camera modules in each render also appear to be unconfirmed. More information will be released soon.
