Motorola had teased a new E series smartphone for India earlier this week. Now, Motorola has announced that the Moto E40 will be released on October 12, 2021.

The smartphone manufacturer announced the launch date of October 12th and the platform it would be available on. You may buy the new gadget through Flipkart, a major e-commerce site in India. The last teaser showed the new smartphone’s design, which has a triple camera arrangement and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

As an E series model, we may anticipate a price tag of around 10,000 INR (approximately 130 USD). There will be a 6.5 inch IPS LCD display on the front with an HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The Moto E40 will be powered by a UNISOC T700 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, according to Geekbench.

A 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor make up the triple camera system. It has an 8MP front-facing camera with a centered punch hole for selfies. Dual SIM, 4G, single band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type C connector will be included.
