Motorola Edge 20 Pro

Motorola last month launched the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion in India. It subsequently disclosed the more powerful Edge 20 Pro would arrive shortly, with an October 1 launch date. Motorola inadvertently disclosed the phone’s price ahead of time.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro was originally unveiled in late July in Europe for €699 (12GB RAM + 256GB). The Motorola India Twitter account disclosed the phone’s price in a now-deleted post. The pricing in India is considerably lower than in Europe, but the device will feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The new Motorola Edge 20Pro will cost Rs.36,999/- in India.

The device’s complete specs are already listed on Flipkart’s promotional website. In the heart of the Edge 20 Pro’s 144Hz 10-bit AMOLED display will be a 32MP front-facing camera. The phone runs on a Snapdragon 870 CPU and a 4500mAh battery that charges at 30W.

In addition to the 108MP main camera, there is an 8MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and 5x optical zoom, as well as a 16MP ultrawide angle camera with macro capabilities. There’s also a zoom microphone on the Edge 20 Pro. In 8K at 24fps and 4K at 30fps.

In addition to the fingerprint scanner on the side, the Edge 20 Pro features a USB-C connection with DisplayPort that enables users to utilize the phone as a desktop PC when connected to an external monitor.

Motorola has announced that the Edge 20 Pro will get Android 12 and Android 13 OS upgrades as well as two years of security patches. Flipkart will sell the phone in Iridescent Cloud and Midnight Sky.
