Oppo has pledged to provide ColorOS 12 to 52 of its smartphones by the end of 2022. It is in contrast to the Chinese version of the software, which is based on the stable Android 12 operating system. It even provided a timeline for when ColorOS 12 would be available for your Oppo device. As would be expected, the Find X3 series is the first to get it, and the distribution for those devices will begin immediately. You can see which devices are eligible for an OTA update in the picture below, along with an estimate of when they will get it.
If they don’t want to wait, some users may even apply for the beta version of the programme. When using such software as a daily driver, be prepared to encounter bugs and other problems.
As of the moment, there is no formal release schedule for the OnePlus smartphones in the worldwide market place. All of OnePlus’ devices, save for the Chinese versions, are receiving an early upgrade to ColorOS 12. OxygenOS will continue to be used on existing devices for the foreseeable future.
