In a hands-on video released last month, the Google Pixel 6 Pro didn’t disclose much new information but did give us a short 360-degree tour of the next-generation Pixel. One more video from the same source shows us what the Pixel 6 Pro can do in terms of photography and videography.
M. Brandon Lee of This is Tech Today, a YouTube channel, obtained the new camera samples. It was from a Nigerian source, according to Lee. YouTuber Evan Blass also shows off the camera app’s user interface while demonstrating the high-quality images and videos you can expect from the Pixel 6 Pro.
Aside from that, the EXIF information in the photos from Google Photos shows that they were taken with a 50MP camera. That generates 12.5MP pixel-binned images, confirming earlier disclosures.
The camera samples were taken using a pre-release device. The ones we’ll see on retail models will be better, so picture/video quality isn’t an issue.
He also offers us a closer look at the Pixel 6 Pro’s curved screen. Which he compares it to that of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. The whole thing may be seen in the player down below.
