The Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will be formally announced on October 19. The Mountain View titan’s next flagship phones are generating a lot of attention, not just because they are new, but also because they use a home-brewed processor.
Google has given us almost everything except the pricing and release date. According to speculations, the Pixel 6 will cost €649 (Rs.56,000/-) in Europe. This seems to be verified now.
According to a listing by German electronics store Saturn, the 8GB/128GB variant would actually cost €649 (Rs.56,000/-). If the listing is true, the phone features a 4,620mAh battery, 50MP + 12MP dual back cameras, an 8MP front camera, an in-display fingerprint reader, and face recognition. Google may have been testing face unlock with the RGB camera, according to XDA Developers Mishaal Rahman. The Google face recognition technology seems less trustworthy than Face ID.
The picture also showed that pre-orders for the Pixel 6 would include the €279.99 (Rs.25,000/-) Bose 700 headphones. The phone will reportedly cost $749 (Rs.56,000/-) in the US. The deal is available through October 27, confirming the October 28 release date rumor. The same vendor offers a Pixel 6 screen protector.
The Pixel 6 Pro is expected to cost between €899 and $1,049 in Europe and between $1,049 and $1,099 in the US. It also features a 48MP telephoto camera and a 5,000mAh battery. It will have 12GB RAM and come in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.
Android 12 will be pre-loaded. Although Google’s newest operating system is stable, no phones have yet received it. This will be one of the greatest smartphone series in 2021, judging on the excitement around the Pixel 6. It may also help that some iOS users prefer the Google Pixel over the new iPhone 13.
