Also, while Xiaomi’s official Weibo account continues to promise features for the Redmi Note 11 series (primarily the Pro), there are other sources of information, like TENAA, which certified the vanilla variant.
This phone has a 6.6” 1080p display (20:9). However, according to DCS, the TENAA listing is incorrect and the phone is actually equipped with an LCD (the Pro model is confirmed to have an OLED panel, though). The fingerprint reader is also on the side of the phone, not behind the display. TENAA didn’t release photographs of the phone, so we can’t verify that.
The back camera system sounds basic with a 16 MP primary module and a 5 MP secondary camera. The Pro model has a 108 MP camera. And it’s not the only distinction between the two.
The Note 11 is said to include a Dimensity 810 chipset, a scaled-down version of the Dimensity 920 in the Pro. The Chinese regulator lists memory configurations of 4/6/8/12 GB RAM and 64/128/256/512 GB storage. And that’s with a MicroSD slot (particularly the 12/512 GB option on a mid-range device).
The battery is 4,900 mAh. No charge rate is indicated here, although the same model (21091116AC) was approved with 33W charging by the 3C. (again, quite a way away from the 120W charging of the Pro). This model number has also been linked to the Poco M4 Pro, thus we may see different hardware in different product lines.
TENAA has a few more details on the (alleged) Redmi Note 11. An IR blaster will be built-in. In terms of size, it is 163.56×75.78×8.75mm.
We’ll end with the official Redmi Note 11 details. To clarify, “JBL Symmetric Stereo” is stereo sound with two equal speakers (rather than a loudspeaker + earpiece). The two speakers are also positioned so that your hands don’t get in the way when playing games or watching videos. The series will also feature Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio Wireless.
