Vivo announced that it would launch the Vivo X70 series smartphones including the X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro + in China on September 9th. There was also an image shared of the X70 Pro+ with ZEISS optics with T* coating, ZEISS VARIO TESSAR 1.57-3.4 aperture / 14-125 ASPH lens. A leaker, Digital Chat Station, has now revealed the detailed specifications for the models. TENAA has also certified the specifications of the X70 and X70 Pro+.
Vivo X70 & Vivo X70 Pro:
As per the tipster, the new Vivo X70 & Vivo X70 Pro will come with almost similar specs but with minor changes. Both the new Vivo X70 & Vivo X70 Pro will also look identical in terms of design and only get some change in camera placement. The new Vivo X70 & Vivo X70 Pro measures 7.55 mm & 7.99 mm thick & weighs around 181g & 185g respectively.
The new Vivo X70 & Vivo X70 Pro will sport the same 6.56 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.8:9. It also supports HDR10+ & gets a 120Hz refresh rate with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Both the devices come powered by either MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC or Exynos 1080 SoC. It is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage.
The new Vivo X70 & Vivo X70 Pro will feature triple/quad rear cameras. The Vivo X70 features a 48MP main Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS with 12MP Ultra-wide and a 12MP portrait sensor with LED flash. The Vivo X70 Pro comes with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor with OIS coupled with the same 12MP Ultra-wide and a 12MP portrait sensor. But gets an additional 8MP periscopic lens with 3x optical zoom.
Both of them feature a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C port. Both the devices run on Android 11 with the latest Origin OS 1.0 on top. The new Vivo X70 packs in 4400 mAh battery whereas the Vivo X70 Pro with 4450 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
Vivo X70 Pro+:
Finally, we also got the complete specs leaked for the super flagship aka Vivo X70 Pro+. The new premium Vivo X70 Pro+ will finally get an upgraded display and better cameras than its predecessor. There are also slight changes in terms of design too this time as the back takes almost 50% of the area covered with the camera. It measures 8.89 mm thick and weighs 209g.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ sports a larger 6.78 inches QHD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED curved display. It also gets HDR10+ & 120Hz refresh rate with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Vivo X70 Pro+ is now powered by the latest SD888+ SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ will turn out to be the best camera flagship and gives tough competition to many flagships. The Vivo X70 Pro+ features a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor with OIS, Zeiss T* coating, EIS coupled with 48MP Sony IMX589 ultra-wide sensor coupled with 12MP portrait lens. It also comes with the same 8MP Periscopic lens with 4-axis OIS Gimbal stabilization, OIS, and Laser AF. The device again features the same 32MP selfie shooter from the Vivo X70.
