Samsung has finally announced its budget smartphone aka the Galaxy M22 in Germany today. The Galaxy M22 is the direct successor to last year’s launched Galaxy M21. The new Galaxy M22 will arrive in three colors with Black, Elegant Blue, and White colors.
The Galaxy M22 will again ship with a polycarbonate back with a textured back and measures 8.4 mm thick. It weighs around 186g which is lighter than Galaxy M12. The new Galaxy M22 sports 6.4 inches HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display. The new Galaxy M22 is powered by an SD662 SoC 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 4GB RAM & 128GB internal storage. It gets support for storage expansion via a microSD card.
On the back, the Galaxy M22 features quad rear cameras with a 48MP main sensor having an aperture of f/2.0, an 8MP ultra-wide (115-degree) sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash. There is a 13MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
All this is packed with a larger 5000 mAh battery and comes with 15W fast charging support. The new Galaxy M22 runs on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top. The device also keeps the 3.5 mm jack, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, and also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Samsung has not yet revealed the pricing and availability details for the new Galaxy M22 at moment. It is soon going to land in India next.
