The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is the company’s most affordable 5G smartphone at the time of writing. At the end of August, it was revealed that the upcoming Galaxy A13 5G would be taking over as the new flagship device. Now, the source who initially provided this information has returned with even more information about the Galaxy A12’s successor.
GalaxyClub was the first to discover the existence of the Galaxy A13 5G. According to the publication, this handset will be designated by the model number SM-A136B when released. The camera and battery specifications of the phone have now been revealed in a new report by the same publication.
According to the most recent report by GalayClub, the upcoming Galaxy A13 5G will feature a primary camera with a resolution of 50MP. Unfortunately, the precise sensor has not been identified. In any case, based on recent budget smartphones such as the Redmi 10, which has a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor, it is possible that the Galaxy A13 5G will also have the same sensor.
The device is also said to be powered by a battery with a capacity of 5,000mAh. It is common for budget smartphones to have a larger battery than their higher-priced counterparts. Even the Galaxy A12 had the same amount of battery life as the Galaxy S8.
With the exception of these two specifics, we don’t know much about the Galaxy A13 5G at this time. Nonetheless, we expect to learn more about this handset in the coming days and weeks.
Samsung is expected to introduce the Galaxy A13 5G smartphone before the end of 2021. However, the phone is expected to reach the market in the first quarter of 2022.
