Many manufacturers use a 6-month refresh cycle for their mid-range phones. Due to the shorter time between releases, several phones have comparable specifications. A business official today unveiled the processor for the forthcoming Narzo 50A smartphone.
We already know the Narzo 50A is coming since it has been certified by several authorities in recent weeks. A press render leaked in late August revealed its appearance. Now Realme has taken control of the story and revealed the new smartphone’s processor.
Francis Wong, CMO of Realme India & Europe, disclosed the processor’s identity through Twitter. He claims the Narzo 50A will use the same MediaTek Helio G85 CPU as the Narzo 30A.
The Helio G85 features two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It also features a 1GHz Mali G52 MC2 GPU. Many manufacturers use the CPU in their mid-range phones, including Redmi, Tecno, Infinix, Samsung, and Micromax.
Those upset that the Narzo 50A will keep the same sensor may anticipate additional changes. For example, the leaked render showed three rear cameras and a revamped back panel. There may be additional changes that we will learn about before the launch.
