According to a popular tipster named Digital Chat Station, Oppo’s next flagship smartphone will use two of Sony’s new IMX766 sensors. In the past, we saw Realme partnering with the popular camera brand Kodak.
The report states that the Chinese OEM is in collaboration with Kodak to bring consumers a smartphone that pays homage to the classic Kodak camera design. The Sony IMX766 50MP, 1/1.5″ sensor will be at the center of the new flagship, and as with the Find X3 Pro, its ultrawide camera will be paired with like-sized sensors.
The 13 MP telephoto lens and 3MP microscope camera from the X3 Pro will appear to have made the move.
We don’t know any more details about Oppo’s future flagship at this point, but we expect to learn more in the near future.
As Oppo recently announced, ColorOS 12 will be based on Android 12. In mid-to-late September, Oppo will launch ColorOS 12 based on Android 12. 1440 x 3216 pixels is the resolution of the wallpapers.
