OnePlus began its tradition of announcing T-variants of its flagship phones with the OnePlus 3T. If you were expecting the release of the OnePlus 9T or the Oneplus 9T Pro, OnePlus has announced the phones will not come out this year.
OnePlus confirmed the information in a press briefing (via XDA Developers) regarding its future plans. OnePlus has said there will be other releases, even though there will be no T-variants of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.
According to a leaked document in August, OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 9R T-variant as the OnePlus 9RT/OnePlus 9 RT. Two other Nord phones will also be released, the source said. An October 15 launch date is rumored for the OnePlus 9 RT.
OnePlus 9RT Specs:
OnePlus 9 RT specs include a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset, Sony’s IMX766 50MP main camera, and 65W fast charging. Additionally, a fingerprint scanner should be integrated into the display
OxygenOS 12 will be pre-installed, based on Android 12. New features of OxygenOS include a redesigned UI, floating windows, enhanced privacy settings, a theme store, and a digital safe to store sensitive data.
