Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 appeared to be a departure from the high-end Galaxy Note series. However, a new report from a tipster suggests that the Galaxy S lineup may be replaced by the Note series.
If you didn’t know, Samsung didn’t release a Note phone this year but did include S Pen support for its Galaxy S21 Ultra. Galaxy Flex Note trademarked and patenting a unique phone with a folding wrap-around display that also supported the S Pen stylus hinted that the company will be reviving its Note series.
This news was revealed by Ice Universe, a known tipper (22nd September 2021). While this would be great for Note fans, it is unlikely since the S series also has a loyal following. Previously, the Galaxy S21 Ultra blurred the line between the two series.
But Samsung kept it as an S series phone that didn’t come with an S Pen. As of now, this is an unconfirmed report, so take it with a grain of salt. We are unable to verify this information at this time, so stay tuned for updates.
