Xiaomi is preparing for Smart Living 2022, which happens on August 26. In addition to the Mi Band 6, the company will unveil a new Mi Notebook at the event. There have been leaks on the upcoming Xiaomi laptop ahead of its launch. Mi Notebook could be rebranded from the RedmiBook Pro 15, which was released in China earlier this year.
The laptop’s specs have leaked online ahead of its release. The laptop features a screen with a resolution of 3200 x 2000 on a 15.6-inch display. Super Retina 3.2K displays have a brightness of 300 nits and 100 percent sRGB. Additionally, it will support a 90Hz refresh rate.
Intel’s 11th-generation processor is inside. The model comes with a Core i5-11300H and Core i7-11370H processor, as well as 2GB DDR5 Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics and Intel Iris Xe.
A 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD will be provided on this laptop. A 720p webcam is built into the system, and Windows 10 Home is installed on it. Additionally, the laptop comes with a full-size backlit keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel.
The laptop comes with a fingerprint scanner and a large trackpad. Besides Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, and Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports, it also has a USB 2.0, USB 3.2, and 3.5mm jack as well as an HDMI port. A 70Wh battery powers the device and it can be charged at 100W. Up to 50% of the laptop’s battery can be charged in 35 minutes.
