Xiaomi first announced the Mi MIX 3 smartphone back in October. It has yet to release its successor in 2019/2020. Recently, the company revealed that it would be announcing its Mi MIX 4 in China on 8/10/2018. Today, the company said that the Mi MIX 4 was built over 1,020 hours and required many successes, failures, and hundreds of more detours. It also released a teaser revealing the design of the MIX Series phone’s display.
The company may be hinting at its display design with the Mi MIX 4 via the new poster. The Mi MIX 4 will offer the same full-screen experience that the Mi MIX smartphones.
The poster looks like it shows the display design it may have thought of for the Mi MIX 4. It also displays the Mi MIX Alpha, which was introduced last summer as a concept handset. Its unique wraparound display allowed it a 180% screen-to-body ratio.
The poster’s last phone shows a phone with a curvilinear edge display that lacks any punch-holes or notches. Mi MIX 4 Support UWB ( Ultra-Wideband Technology) allows the mobile phone to accurately sense the position of Smart Devices and can be directly controlled by pointing to any smart device.
According to reports, Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 4 smartphone will have an in-screen camera. Therefore, the Mi MIX 4 might be the last phone in this poster. Some reports claim that the Mi MIX 4 might come with a 6.6-inch OLED display. It’s possible that the panel will have FHD+ resolution but will still offer better viewing than standard 1080p panels.
Mi MIX 4 may include the Snapdragon888 or 888+ Chip, a 120W fast charger, 70W and 80W wireless charging, and 12 GB or 512 GB storage.
