Having been spotted in the IMEI database, Xiaomi India has now started teaser tweets about the Redmi 10 Prime. Several prime numbers appear in the tweet from Xiaomi executives, suggesting the Redmi 10 Prime will be launched in India.

Xiaomi is about to reveal its official announcement date in a matter of days. As of now, though no exact date has yet been announced. Possibly, the launch will take place in September. Earlier this week, the company had launched the Redmi 10 globally. If the Redmi 10 is rebranded to the Redmi 10 Prime or if it’s a completely new model, it remains to be seen whether this will be the Country’s first Redmi device.

A model number 21061119BI has emerged from the IMEI database for the Redmi 10 Prime, where the “I” indicates the variant from India. For now, the Redmi 10 Prime remains in the shadows. Since this is our first appearance of the device, we don’t know what its specifications will be.
