Looks like we got another leak for the next year’s flagship Xiaomi Mi 12. In the past, we got to know that Xiaomi Mi 12 will be the first to ship with SD898 SoC. We also got to know that Xiaomi Mi 12 will be launching by end of this year in China.
Now one of the sources has managed to leak the key specs of the new Xiaomi Mi 12 ahead of the 2022 launch. As per the source, the new Xiaomi Mi 12 will sport Samsung’s LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz-120Hz. It will also feature under-display camera support which is likely to debut on Mi Mix 4 first.
The new Xiaomi Mi 12 is indeed powered by the upcoming SD898 SoC which is rumored to be built on Samsung’s latest 4nm process. The new SD898 SoC will feature three cluster CPU designs with high-performance cores clocked at 3.09 GHz, performance cores at 2.04GHz, and power-saving cores at 1.84 GHz.
Xiaomi Mi 12 will feature the new 192MP Samsung ISOCELL main sensor with 16MP pixel binning technology. It will come with support for 120W wired fast charging and 100W wireless fast charging support.
