The Mi Pad 5 has been talked about for a while. Today the company announced that the tablet would launch on August 10.
Xiaomi hasn’t released any information about the Mi Pad 5 to date. But, the photo that is posted on Weibo confirms that the Mi Pad 5 will come with stylus support; however, whether or not the stylus will come bundled with the slate remains unclear.
This image illustrates that this image shows that the Mi Pad 5 will be made of flat frames. There is also an antenna on one side, which suggests metal build and LTE/5G connectivity.
Three tablets are believed to be part of the Mi Pad 5 series: Mi Pad 5 Lite and Mi Pad 5 Pro. All three are said to have 10.9″ LCDs with IPS with a 120Hz refresh rate and the 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Rumours suggest that Pro and vanilla models will use the Snapdragon 870 operating system, and the Lite model will use the Snapdragon 860. Images leaked online revealed that the Mi Pad 5 will feature a camera-like Mi 11 on the rear, and there will be a keyboard case that includes a holster for the stylus.
Xiaomi will also unveil the Mi Mix 4 on August 10. We anticipate that the Chinese phone maker will reveal certain aspects of the Mi Mix 4 and the Mi Pad 5 during the build-up to the official unveiling.
