Xiaomi has quietly announced the budget phone Redmi 10 for Global users. The new Redmi 10 will be soon landing in India. This might be the first time Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 10 ahead of the China launch. The Redmi 10 will go on sale from Aug 20 in Malaysia.

Design:

The Redmi 10 reminds us of the Redmi Note 10 series as it’s heavily inspired by the same. On the front, the Redmi 10 features a centre punch-hole display and the back comes with a rectangular camera module.

The camera module carries triple cameras with LED flash. The power button also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner along with volume rockers are on the right. It measures 8.93 mm thick and weighs 182g. The Redmi 10 comes in three colours with Carbon Gray, Pebble White, Sea Blue.

Specs:

The new Redmi 10 sports 6.5 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display on the front with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device features a 90Hz AdaptiveSync display that allows users to set from 45 to 90Hz refresh rates. It is powered by the unannounced MediaTek Helio G88 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

The Redmi 10 features a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth plus macro sensor with LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter. All this is packed by a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging support. It comes with stereo dual speakers on the front.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, A-GPS, GLONASS, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, IR Blaster and 3.5mm audio jack. It runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top.

The new Redmi 10 with 4GB+64GB cost $180 (Rs.13,500/-), 4GB+128GB at $200 (Rs.15,000/-) and $220 for 6GB+128GB (Rs.16,500/-).
