Vivo has in fact unveiled its own ISP, a rumour surfacing yesterday. Vivo China President, Hu Baishan, held a press conference where he discussed the short-term plans of the company.

Vivo V1 ISP will be integrated into the X70 series smartphone of the company, said the executive. We also got to know that the Vivo X70 series will be launched in Sept. Also, the Vivo tablet aka Vivo Pad is also underworking. But Vivo Pad will not be available until 2022.

Vivo also talked about the Internet of Things and is now implementing a strategy called 1 + 3 + N. Huawei introduced something similar, and Realme borrowed it – one smartphone, controlling three peripheral devices, which will then connect to many more smart products.

According to Hu, keeping users in the same ecosystem will improve the overall experience and everyday life. His mention of Apple shows how the company keeps its users within the closed-loop.

The company will not be releasing a TV, as many of its rivals have.
