Xiaomi will unveil its new Mi Notebook series in India on August 26 at its Smarter Living 2022 event. Xiaomi teased these new notebooks quite a while ago, but we now have some new information regarding them from the company.

According to the Amazon official page, one of Mi Notebook’s models will have a 16:10 FHD display. It will have a 100% SRGB colour gamut. In addition to the high refresh rate display, Xiaomi has teased that a notebook will be coming soon. It is expected to have a resolution of 3020*2000, which is equivalent to 6.4 million pixels.

The new Mi Notebook is expected to feature a backlit keyboard with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. In addition to its Thunderbolt port, the device will have a USB 3.0 port for charging. A slim profile is also expected.

We also got a first glimpse of the notebook, which looks like a Macbook. According to the pictures, the upcoming notebook will come with a large trackpad. The device has a 3.5mm audio jack with a USB port on one edge, a USB Type C port on the other edge, and a Thunderbolt port on one edge.

Further, the tipster also revealed the specs of the new Mi Notebook series. As per the source, Xiaomi will introduce two new laptops under the Mi Notebook series. The new Mi Notebook series will sport a 90Hz & 60Hz refresh rate of 3.5K & 2.5K resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio display.

The Mi Notebook series will be powered by the latest 11th Gen Inte Cre i5 & Core i7 processor. The connectivity option includes 2 USB C, 2 USB A, 1 HDMI port & a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will pack 70WHr & 56WHr battery with 100W & 65W fast charge support through a USB-C charger. Both of them will come with a backlight keyboard and fingerprint scanner support.

In a recent report, Xiaomi plans to introduce two new notebooks at its Smarter Living event in 2022: the Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Ultra 14. The notebooks are said to be rebranded RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15 that debuted in China a few months ago. According to rumours, both notebooks will include Intel XE graphics.

On August 26, Xiaomi will unveil a number of IoT products alongside the new notebooks. Mi Band 6, a new Wi-Fi router, and a smart camera are among the products expected to launch this year.
