In the past three years Xiaomi has had a lot of usage of different 108 MP sensors, including one on the Mi 11 and Mix 4. The ultra wide and telephoto modules though, typically in the 8-13MP range, continued to utilise very low resolution sensors.
Xiaomi 12 series:
For the 12 generation Xiaomi (remember no ‘Mi’) the firm will employ a three-fold 50 MP configuration. This implies 50MP primary cameras, 50MP extra large cameras and 50MP photos.
