Samsung introduces two new foldable with the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G & Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. After almost a year of wait, we finally got the future of foldable aka the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G & Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. The new Galaxy Z Fold3 5G & Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will be going on sale from Aug 27 in the US and select markets. The Indian launch and availability are still not known at the moment. Both of them will go on pre-order right from today.

Design:
The new Galaxy Z Fold3 5G will look similar to the predecessor in terms of design. But this time we get some additional features that the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G lacked. The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G still features the same set of triple rear cameras this time too.
It still comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G will arrive in three colours with Phantom Green, Phantom Black, Phantom Silver. It measures 6.4 mm thick when unfolded and folded 14.4mm thick. The device measures 271g in weight.
Specs:
The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G will sport the new two Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays of 7.6 inches with a resolution of 2208 x 1768 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top and there are secondary 6.2 inches FHD+ AMOLED display (2260 x 832p).
The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is indeed powered by SD888 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB internal storage space. It comes with triple rear cameras featuring 12MP with f / 1.8, 83 ° FoV, 1.8 µm, OIS, 2PD, 12MP telephoto lens with f/2.4, OIS, with 2x optical zoom and 12MP ultra-wide sensor with 123-degrees FoV, f/2.2 aperture with LED flash.
There is a new 4MP under-display selfie camera on the internal display with f/1.8 aperture. There is a 10MP selfie camera on the external display with f/2.2 aperture. The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G is als certified with IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant, S-Pen support, wireless charging and Dolby Atmos speakers.
The connectivity option includes Single SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, NaVIC, USB Type-C, Wifi-6, Bluetooth 5.2. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 11 OS with One UI 3.1 on top.
The Galaxy Z Fold3 ships with a 4400 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support 11 W wireless charging.
Pricing:
The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G with 12GB+256GB cost 1799 Euros (Rs.1,56,800/-). In the US the Galaxy z Fold3 5G will start at a lower $1,799.99 (Rs.1,33,700/-) for the base variant.

Design:
Yet, again the new Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will feature almost similar design as the predecessor with similar flip styled form factor. This time the only chnage we noticed is with the secondary display which is now slightly larger with 1.9 inches when compared with predecessor.
Apart from that there is hardly any noticeable change. It measures 6.9 mm thin and weighs 183g. The Galaxy Z Flip3 5G comes in Phantom Black, Cream, Lavender colors. The hinge is also reinforced and should be capable of opening and closing it around 100 times per every day, for a total of 200 000 times during the estimated five years.

The Galaxy Z Flip3 5G features side-mounted fingerprint scanner and gets IPX8 rating making it dust and water resistant. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM (1-eSIM+1-SIM) with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual-Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, NFC.
The device packs 3300 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It runs on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top.
Pricing:
The Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will cost 1049 Euros (Rs.91,500/-) for the 8GB+128GB. The pricing details of the 8GB+256GB are still unknown. The price in the US is $999.99 (Rs.74,300/-) and will go on sale from Aug 27.
