Samsung also introduced the new TWS in the market with the successor to Galaxy Buds aka the Galaxy Buds2. After the launch of Galaxy Buds Pro, we now got the cheaper alternative that replaces the Galaxy Buds with Galaxy Buds2. The new Galaxy Buds2 will go on sale from Aug 27 and are currently on pre-orders.

The new Galaxy Buds2 will indeed look similar to previously leaked images with Galaxy Buds Pro like earbuds and comes with a complete polycarbonate build. The new Galaxy Buds2 will now support Bluetooth 5.2 with SBC, AAC, and SSC codecs.

The source confirmed that the new Buds2 will indeed feature Ambient Sound or ANC support that comes with three microphones. It again features a dual-driver setup similar to its predecessor and comes with 11mm drivers along with a 6.5mm tweeter.

The Galaxy Buds2 will pack a 61 mAh battery on each bud and a 472 mAh battery on the charging case. The source revealed that each bud can last for about 8 hours on a single charge without ANC. When ANC is turned on the buds last for about 5 hours on a single charge. Further, the charging case can last for 20 hours without ANC and 13 hours with ANC. It also comes with fast charging support with 5 min charging offers 55min playback. Lastly, the Galaxy Buds2 also features Qi wireless charging support.

It also gets an IPX7 rating making it dust and water-resistant. The Galaxy Buds2 will come in four colours with graphite black, olive green, purple, and white.
