Xiaomi sub-brand finally enters into the laptop segment in India with introduction of two new laptops. Yes, Redmi introduced two new laptops with RedmiBook Pro & RedmiBook e-Learning Edition in India. RedmiBook Pro 15 and RedmiBook e-Learning Edition come in Charcoal Grey colours. Both of them will go on sale from Aug 6 through Flipkart and Mi Stores across India.
Both the new RedmiBook Pro15 & RedmiBook e-Learning Edition looks identical in terms of design. The new RedmiBook Pro15 & RedmiBook e-Learning Edition comes with polycarbonate body with brushed metal finish. Both the laptops weighs around 1.8kgs and measures 19.9mm thick.
The new RedmiBook Pro 15 & RedmiBook e-Learning Edition will sport 15.6 inches FHD IPS LCD display(1920*1080p). RedmiBook Pro15 is powered by latest 11th Gen Intel Core i5 11300H processor with Intel Iris X-E Graphics. RedmiBook e-Learning Edition comes with less powerful 11th Gen Intel Core i3 1115G4 processor with Intel UHD Graphics.
Both of them are coupled with 8GB LPDDR4 3200MHz RAM with 256GB (e-learning only) and 512GB NVMe SSD storage. The devices do come with 720p HD webcam on the front. Further the laptops features Full-size keyboard with scissor mechanism with 1.5mm key travel, 100cm² trackpad.
It runs on Windows 10 Home with pre-loaded with MS Office Home and Student Edition 2019. The laptop features HD Webcam for video calling and comes with dual 2W stereo speakers.
RedmiBook series comes with support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0. The other connectivity options include USB 2.0 x 1, USB 3.2 Gen1 x 2, SD card reader, HDMI, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Both the RedmiBook Pro15 & RedmiBook e-Learning Edition packs 46Wh battery that last up to 10 hours and comes with 65W fast charge support.
The RedmiBook e-Learning Edition costs Rs. 41,999 for 256GB and Rs.44,999/- for 512GB. The RedmiBook Pro 15 with 512GB cost Rs.49,999/- in India. The launch offers include flat Rs.3500/- off on RedmiBook Pro 15 & Rs.2500/- on RedmiBook e-Learning Edition with HDFC Bank credit/debit cards.
